đŻ A classic two-player strategy game, faithfully reimagined for today.
What is Tac-Tickle?
In 1965, Professor Harry D. Ruderman created a simple game of strategic moves and mental focus called Tac-Tickle, which quietly gained traction among teachers and thinkers. With just a few pieces and a compact board, it challenged players to think ahead, adapt, and outmaneuver one another. It was quick to learn⌠and surprisingly hard to master.
Over the decades, Tac-Tickle quietly developed a loyal following. It was used in schools, libraries, and learning centers â even earning a spot in the Smithsonianâs National Museum of American History.
Now, 60 years later, we're proud to bring it back â with a fresh design, and the same timeless gameplay.
đ A Rediscovery After Decades
In 2024, Tac-Tickle was reintroduced to a new audience when the daughter of Berk Sener, founder of Crafted Family Games, brought the game home from school. Taught by one of her teachers, she quickly passed it on to her familyâwhere it immediately captured their attention.
Curious about its origins, Berk began researching the gameâs history. That journey lled to the the longtime rights holder. After months of conversation and collaboration, we secured the official license to revive the gameâpreserving its original mechanics while updating the visual design and gameplay presentation for todayâs players.
